Having discussed all the invisible forces at play in the subject of tourism in India, the most important goal we have in mind for this project, is to educate others on the need for sustainable, independent development and growth through tourism for countries classified as being in the global South using India as a solid example.  From the previous presentations, we can clearly see that the medical, sex, eco or heritage and the religious tourism sectors all work co-dependently in order to move away from the conventional modernization methods wherein industrialization is a necessity, to a more environmentally friendly, cultural preservative and representative mode of modernization.

This movement to a more nature-aware economy is important not just for India but other underdeveloped countries in other continents of the World because it fosters and encourages a more pluralistic view of what modernization should mean through exhibition of various cultures and religions.

Also, the introduction of tourism as a development strategy ensures viable, long-term economic operations, providing socio-economic benefits to all stakeholders that are fairly distributed, including stable employment and income-earning opportunities and social services to host communities, and contributing to poverty alleviation.
